Rep. Jay Rodne invites constituents to telephone town hall meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 7

Rep. Jay Rodne is inviting his constituents in the 5th District to participate in a telephone town hall meeting Tuesday, Feb. 7. The event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run for an hour. The state lawmaker will take questions and share his perspective on the legislative session which runs through March 8.

To participate, constituents may call the toll-free number at 1-877-229-8493 and enter the code 15549 when prompted. Once on the line, participants may select star 3 (*3) on their telephone keypads to ask questions. Or, just listen in from the comfort of their own homes. There will also be an opportunity at the end of the call to leave messages for the state lawmaker.

“We are at a critical point of the legislative session. This community conversation is an opportunity for people to provide their input on the issues facing our state, and allows me to share my views on what is happening in the Legislature,” said Rodne, R-North Bend. “I encourage folks to call in and participate at whatever level they are comfortable with.”

Those who are unable to join the call may contact Rodne at (360) 786-7852 or jay.rodne@leg.wa.gov. People are also welcome to leave a message on the toll-free legislative hotline at 1-800-562-6000.
